ARRIVING BY PLANE
Please plan to fly into Montreal Trudeau International Airport (YUL). You want to secure your tickets as soon as possible as flights are limited and it is a holiday weekend. REMEMBER YOUR PASSPORT!
Plan to arrive at YUL AND CLEAR CUSTOMS no later than 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, 9/2, if you want to catch the shuttle organized by Mosaic to the camp. If you plan to rent a car in Montreal, feel free to arrive AT CAMP anytime after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Check in at camp will open at 4:00 p.m. If you want to arrive at camp earlier, your help with various setup and check-in tasks will be greatly appreciated.
If you are participating in the Pre-Trip, the official meet-up time is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Select hotel, 99 Viger Ave West, Montreal, QC H2Z 1E9. You will need to make your own transportation plans to the Holiday Inn Select. There is an Express Bus available from the airport that services all downtown hotels - Express bus 747. Price is $7 CDN. Here's a link to the bus route map. Tickets are sold at the currency exchange (ICE) location on the international arrivals level at YUL airport. Or if you elect to take a cab, expect to pay $38 CDN.
DEPARTING BY PLANE
If you need a shuttle back to the airport on Monday, make your return arrangements to leave YUL no earlier than 12:00 noon on Monday, September 6th.
AIRPORT & CAMP SHUTTLE
EVERYONE flying in and not renting a car (including pre-trip participants) will need a shuttle from YUL to the camp on Thursday. The bus will be departing YUL at 2:30 p.m. SHARP, so you should plan to arrive at the airport AND BE THROUGH CUSTOMS no later than 1:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Cost for the Mosaic shuttle round trip from Montreal is $55 USD.
CHANGES
Mosaic does reserve the right to make appropriate changes to this schedule and to assign people to busses and vans based on efficient and reasonable capacity loadings.
LOCAL CLUB OPTIONS
Some nearby clubs (New York, Boston, Toronto) may be providing van service to camp, or helping to coordinate carpools or other transportation. Please indicate on your registration form if you're interested in ride sharing from your area, and we'll pass your info on to your local club's Transportation Coordinator for follow up.
ARRIVING BY CAR
If you are driving in to the area, or will be renting your own car, you will not need to pay for any shuttles. Check-in at camp opens at 4:00 p.m. Keep in mind, there may be heavy traffic on Thursday afternoon. If you are coming to camp from outside of Canada, DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSPORT.
