| DETAILS | We would like to remind you of this
upcoming regular event. Join us at Memorial Park for a walking, hiking or biking on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. The 3 groups will meets twice each month for a brisk walk, hike or bike on the Memorial Park Trails. Check out scenery and make new friends. It is a 3 mile trek for the walkers and hikers, more for the mountain bikers, less for the basic biker. |

as we celebrate the harvest festival.
We will eat in the Sukkah
and share a potluck dinner. Bring something
to hang in the Sukkah,
a dairy or vegetarian dish or dessert to share.
It's Potluck as you know, so
we'll need you to bring
a dish to share we supply
the drinks.
Bring a dish of chicken, roast, a yummy jello ring, Pasta salad,
veggies or dessert to share.
We will be feeding 40 people or more!! |

| DETAILS | Enjoy a
leisurely hike and see the signs of Nature as it is preserved in the middle of the city. The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, adjacent to Memorial Park, is a great place to see early signs of FALL, which has started, weather permitting. We will be starting around 10am. Meet at the headquarters building at 9:30am for a hike in the forest. Then we are off to brunch at a laid back place in the tropics where customers arrive by boat, plane or car,..... Clean-up Houston has volunteered to adopt the "block" in front of the JCC from Chimney Rock to Hillcroft and pick up garbage on the JCC side of road Our last
cleanup was a great success! Dedicated and energetic people
participated. |
