| DETAILS |
Join us
for a day hike at Brazos Bend State Park, approximately 28 miles south
of Houston. We'll meet at JCC parking lot at 9am on Sunday morning to
arrange car pools, and will leave promptly at 9:15am. You can also
meet the group at the Park's entrance around 10am. Park entrance fee
is $3.50 per person.
The park has over 21.6 miles of hiking trails. We anticipate a
moderate difficulty hike 2-4 hours in length. Depending on the number
of people and their preferences we may split into groups.
We will eat after the hike at a great, nearby, hole in the wall,
fast-food place.

Please bring enough drinking water, snack (if you need any),
and rain gear (depending on the forecast).
Mosaic will provide portable medical kit and a water source.

your bike, roller blades, Frisbees,
Bring A dish
and Join us for an afternoon of cycling, roller blading, hiking or
just schmoozing in the park. Refreshments and a Kosher Hot-dog will be
provided and Look for the MOSAIC sign along the Memorial Park Picnic
Loop, on the South side of Memorial Drive, East of the Volleyball
courts.
EXTRAS:
1. Bring your dog, borrow ONE or just come out and enjoy someone
else's dog. :) Please, only friendly, well-socialized dogs are
encouraged to join us.
2. We will have our next
planning meeting at this time too so bring your ideals and volunteer
to help out!
