Directions to King's Orchard (409-894-2766):Take I45 north to FM1488 (Magnolia)
FM1488 west to Magnolia, to FM1774
FM1774 north toward Plantersville, about 7 miles north of Magnolia
After passing Texas Renaissance Festival site, there will be a sign for Kings Orchard.
Turn left onto road @ sign, then go about 1 mile to orchard, on left.

Join Mosaic for YAD Mitzvah Madness. Wear your Mosaic T-shirt and meet at 10:45 A.M. at the Jewish Federation Building, 5603 S. Braeswood. We will register as a group and work on one or more projects as a Mosaic Mitzvah Team.

Mitzvah projects include :
1) Hold My Hand Emergency Shelter - field trip
2) Children's Assessment Center - sorting clothes and other tasks
3) AIDS Foundation Houston - project to be determined
4) SEARCH - making sack lunches for mobile food unit
5) Hermann Children's Hospital - art project with kids
6) Hermann Hospital - art project with families of Intensive Care Units &
needs musicians to play soft music to create healing environment
7) Holocaust Museum Houston - covering books for curriculum trunks
8) Seven Acres - interactive activity with senior relatives
9) Goldberg Towers - make goody bags & art projects with residents
10) New Hope Housing - interactive activity with residents
11) Surprise Agency #1
12) Surprise Agency #2
Afterwards there will be a Happy Hour at 4:00 P.M. located at Volcano 2349 Bissonnet between Kirby and Greenbriar.
Bring canned goods to the Mitzvah Madness registration to receive Mitzvah Madness currency for Happy Hour discounts.

Keith Rosen and Rachel Lessick will lead horseback riding at River Bridge Stables in Brookshire, Meet at the JCC at 9:00 AM. The cost is $13.50 for a 45 minute ride on 64 acres of open land. Wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Send a check payable to River Bridge Stables to Keith Rosen, 7519 Schiller Street, Houston, Texas 77055-5111 by April 19 to register. There is a $5.00 nonmembers fee, payable to Mosaic Outdoor Club of Houston. Registration is limited to the first eight who send in their checks. The site has a swimming pool and go-carts available for nominal additional fees. It also is close to the new Katy Mills Mall, so we may have some other diversions for fun, lunch and shopping.
