Join the Austin, Houston and Dallas Mosaic Outdoor Clubs for an exciting weekend of camping, boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, blading and water skiing at Lake Somerville State Park. The Lake Somerville Birch Creek Unit features lots of nearby quiet roads for cycling or rollerblading, more than 23 miles of marked trails for hiking and mountain biking, canoe and kayak rentals, great fishing and a boat ramp convenient to our camping area. Bring your ski boat, sail boat, canoe or kayak. We will have lakeside camp sites allowing you to tie your boat up in the water adjacent to our site.

The cost of this trip is $25.00 for Mosaic Members and $35.00 for nonmembers. A maximum trip size of 40 persons and a RSVP deadline of April 15, 2000 will both be strictly enforced. Payments received by Mosaic after April 20, 2000 will be subject to a $15.00 late fee. The base registration fee includes camp site fees, six meals beginning with Shabbat dinner and ending with Sunday lunch, beverages, firewood and cooking and cleaning supplies. There will be a short, informal Shabbat service at sundown Friday night and a Havdalah service Saturday night. Participants must supply their own snacks, plate, bowl, cup, eating utensils and water bottle. Please advise the trip leaders of any special dietary needs at the time of your registration.
