Sunday October 27 2002 - Bonfire Join us for our First Annual Pre-Halloween Bonfire! Hang out, sing and make 'smores right on the shore of Lake Michigan near Central Street in Evanston. TIME: 5:00pm - 10:30pm, Dinner BBQ. COST: $5 for members, $10 non-members. Child/Family friendly...though the event may be difficult for children under 8. Directions: Take Central Street in Evanston east to Sheridan. Turn north (left) onto Sheridan. Look to your right - turn right into the Evanston Fine Arts Center. Park as close to the lake as possible. Walk toward the beach - East of the Arts Center you will see a grove of trees (to your right). The bonfire pit is in this grove.
