Once again, Mosaic is calling all members and friends
who think Golf is just another 4 letter word, have never played
or are true ?floG? players, are afraid to get out there
and give it a go, or just wanna get out and have some fun!
Same qualifications - none required - and write-up as previous
- you only gotta know how to spell golf; hint - G-O-L-F!
Cross Creek offers a great venue for this event.
A Par 3 course - i.e., beginner stuff. Locally convenient in Buckhead.
Very scenic. Not many players to laugh at us. No competition
from Tiger Woods nor other real PGA tour members.
A price that is so down to earth (I've got to be careful here),
that your putts should be as low.
No carpool logistics except by personal arrangement.
No talent required. No age limitations. No special male
and female groupings. No food preparation. No prizes.
Only a desire to have fun.
Will be limited to the 1st twenty people who step forward
and call either Bill or Hank. Hopefully we can put together
5 foursomes. Last time management gave us the front 9 holes
solely to accommodate our fantastic talent pool.
Some clubsets will be available - not necessary to have your own,
we will share, they will loan, but if you can beg or borrow a set,
that would help out.
Ability Level: No prerequisite talent.
If you can spell ?G-O-L-F?, then you are welcome to join us.
Meeting Location: Cross Creek Country Club,
located on Bohler Road just off i-75 at Moores Mill exit.
I-75 to Exit 106/Moores Mill Road.
Go RIGHT on Moores Mill for 0.3 miles to West Wesley Road.
Turn left and go 0.1 miles to Bohler Road.
Turn right and go 0.5 miles to Cross Creek Parkway.
Turn left to the entrance on left.
Meet Time : 0945 HRS EST
Depart (Tee-off) Time : 1000 HRS EST
Return Time : 1:00-2:00 PM
What to Bring: Weather-dependent. Sunglasses, a hat,
maybe a windbreaker, sneakers or golf shoes, $$$$,
clubs if you got 'em - otherwise we will improvise.
Pets: Nope
Cost: $10.00 gets you greens fee and pull cart.
Balls run about a buck each.
Incidentals (nibbles, soda,etc) extra. Payable there.
$3 extra for non-Mosaic members, or join that day for $25/yr.
