Come join us at Cloudland Canyon State Park on MLK weekend.
This is NOT a previewed event, so you need to be willing to take
a chance and exercise your sense of adventure!!!!
RSVP soon since space is limited but may be expanded if we get early responses.
We will "camp" in heated cottages with full bathroom and kitchen facilities,
woodburning fireplaces, overlooking scenic waterfalls.
Days will be spent hiking the beautiful nearby terrain
while at night we hope to take advantage of the full moon
with Moonlight Walks, a fireplace, group games, individual talents
-- (anyone have a guitar?)
Saturday we will most likely tour one or two nearby state parks
that are a short hop away.
*Sunday will be the signature event hike, Cloudland Canyon.
This is a moderate 5 mile hike with lots of steps and views of waterfalls.
We have three cottages with two rooms per cottage
and two double beds per room.
So we're planning two people per room;
either one per bed or couples sharing.
If you want a private room for a single call and we'll see
if there is space and let you know the cost.
However, if you are willing to share a bed, sharing a room,
potentially with mixed company then we can expand the limit.
Also, you can use sleeping bags on a shared bed
so you aren’t actually sleeping in the same bed.
Or if we have enough early RSVPs we can get additional cottages.
But we must have enough RSVPs by our deadline
or we’ll need to cancel a cottage.
Cost: (based on one person per bed or two people per room)
$75 per person for members, $90 for non-members
(membership is only $25 per year);
includes lodging and food for the weekend.

Your check is your rsvp, but please also email the leaders
so we can contact you for additional information.
In your email, include name or names of participants,
phone number, if there is someone you want to room with
and what kind of room arrangement you're willing to have
-- private room only, shared with one other person,
sharing with three other persons (your cost will vary depending)

will be provided to those that RSVP.
Cancellation: no refunds after our stated deadline
unless we cancel the group due to inadequate participation.
We won't be depositing your check until after the deadline.
